How to manage your SiteStakes subscription

Manage Your SiteStakes Subscription

Change your plan, add or remove add-ons, cancel, and pay invoices — all from your billing page.

How does billing work on SiteStakes?

To manage your real estate website subscription on SiteStakes, open Back office → Admin → Billing & Orders. The page shows your current plans, active subscriptions, order history, payment methods, and any past-due invoices. SiteStakes bills monthly through Stripe with no free trials and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Each site on your account has its own subscription. Two sites under one tenant means two subscription rows with two separate prices. The MRR summary at the top adds them together.

Three plan tiers are available: Basic, Grow, and Pro. Prices vary by site type — the exact monthly price for your site type shows when you open the change-plan modal.

Subscriptions can be Active, Trialing, Past Due, Paused, or Cancelled. Each shows as a colored pill on the subscription card.

How do you change your plan?

To upgrade or downgrade your real estate website subscription, click Change Plan on the subscription card. A preview modal opens with the new price and prorated charges.

  • Upgrades apply immediately. Stripe Embedded Checkout charges the prorated difference for the rest of the period. New limits apply within seconds.
  • Downgrades wait until the end of your current period. You keep higher-tier features until then. No refund is issued.

While a downgrade is pending, your card shows a yellow "Downgrade Scheduled" banner. Click Undo Downgrade to cancel the scheduled change.

How do you add or remove add-ons?

Add-ons unlock features outside your base plan.

Few examples:

  • Agent Suite (IDX/MLS for non-agent sites)
  • Premium Styles (parallax, video backgrounds)
  • Listing Suite (property listings)

To add an add-on, click +Add-on on your billing page. Navigate to add-ons page and follow the screen to payment.

To remove an add-on, click the Cancel link or "Manage" button. The manage button has a Cancel subscription link.

How do you cancel your subscription?

To cancel your real estate website subscription:

  1. Click the Manage button on the subscription card. This opens a modal pop-up.
  2. Click the Cancel subscription link and confirm.

Stripe sets cancel_at_period_end to true.

That means:

  • Your subscription stays active until the end of the current period
  • You keep all your features until then
  • No further charges happen after the period ends
  • No refund for the partial period

While cancellation is scheduled, the card shows an orange "Cancelling" banner with the date your access ends. Click Undo Cancel any time before that to reactivate.

Site data stays in the database for 90 days after cancellation. Reactivate any time in that window and your site, pages, leads, and settings come back exactly as they were.

How do you handle past-due invoices?

When a payment fails, your subscription status changes to Past Due. Stripe automatically retries the charge over the following days. The billing page shows a "Past due" banner with a Pay outstanding invoice button that opens the Stripe-hosted invoice page.

If the invoice stays unpaid, SiteStakes runs a 21-day escalation. You'll receive email notices on Days 0, 3, 5, 7, 10, 14, 17, and 21:

  • Days 0-6. Email warnings only. Your site and back office work as normal.
  • Day 7. Back office switches to read-only. Add-ons disable, credits freeze, but your site stays live for visitors and SEO.
  • Day 21. Your site shows a maintenance page to visitors and your subscription moves to Cancelled.

After Day 21, your data is preserved for 90 days. Update your payment method any time in that window and everything restores — site, pages, leads, settings — exactly as you left it.

To update your card at any point, click Manage payment method to open the Stripe Customer Portal.

Tips for managing your real estate website subscription

A clean real estate website subscription is one where you know what you're paying for and you've set auto-recharge so nothing stops mid-campaign. Check the billing page once a month.

  • Watch the subscription card colors. Green is active, yellow is downgrade scheduled, orange is cancelling, red is past due.
  • Upgrade mid-period if you're hitting limits. Stripe prorates the cost so you only pay for what's left.
  • Set auto-recharge on credits. Enable it for AI and SMS credits with a monthly cap so campaigns don't stop.
  • Download invoices for taxes. Each order has a Print Invoice button.

Frequently asked questions

When does my billing cycle reset?+
On the same calendar day each month, starting from the day you first subscribed. The renewal date shows on each subscription card.
What happens if I downgrade and I already have more AI credits or leads than the new plan allows?+
Existing data stays. The lower limit applies to new credits earned next month.
Will I lose my site if I cancel?+
The site stays online until the end of your current period, then goes offline. Data is retained for 90 days so you can reactivate by updating your payment method during that window.
Can I get a refund?+
SiteStakes offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first month. After 30 days, no refunds, but you can cancel anytime and won't be charged again.
My card was declined. What do I do?+
Click Manage payment method, update your card in the Stripe Customer Portal, then click Pay outstanding invoice. Your subscription reactivates as soon as the payment succeeds.
Can I pause a subscription instead of cancelling?+
No. Cancellation is the only option. Cancel with the schedule-at-period-end behavior, then start a new subscription when you're ready.
